What can I receive through self-determination?
With self-determination, you can have the flexibility to choose a good set of supports and services. You may decide that you need in-home assistance and family support, or you might choose a companion for independent living. Personal assistance, mobility equipment or communications technology might be among the services you choose. If you seek assistance in employment, there are a wide range of supports that you might select to help you get a job and keep that job. If you choose, you can arrange support so that you can participate in community organizations with which you feel comfortable.
